Yund is an older Scorecat in Felis's army who possesses a lot of smarts and experience. He allies himself with Pitru and follows through with the young cat's orders to kill Atunra. After Felis discovers this he captures Yund and threatens to skin him unless he speaks, but even though the Scorecat reveals all he knows about Pitru's plans he is slowly killed by Scaut's dagger.
