Wullow is an old resident of the coast who lives here by himself. He is the relative of Ruggan, Skor, and Swiffo, uncle of Dorka and Jum, and rumoured to know a lot about Wearats. Because of this, Jum seeks him out when they learn of Razzid's threat to Mossflower. While sleeping near a fire one night, Wullow is ambushed by Razzid's crew who cruelly torture him as they despise sea otters since the Rogue Crew defeated them some time earlier. It is not specifically mentioned what happens to him but he is possibly either burned alive or his body torched after the corsairs murder him. His ashes are later discovered and buried by the Long Patrol, and his gruesome death is later avenged by Jum when he kills Razzid during the Battle of Redwall.
