Wother is a pike-wielding resident of Salamandastron and member of the Long Patrol. Along with Ffring and Trubbs he is part of a trio that brings Martin's group to the mountain, and later participates in Boar's Battle. After Ripfang's crew is defeated he assists in commandeering Bloodwake and sails along the River Moss where he helps to fight the Thousand Eye Army. He later forms the Fur and Foot Fighters Border Patrol with other hares.
