Withe - another name for a willow branch - is the tall Infirmary Keeper who nurses Myrtle back to health after she unknowingly drinks water that has been poisoned by Veil. She helps to catch the young ferret by leaving out a bowl filled with beetroot juice, as she knows the creature whose paws turn red is the culprit.
