Wilce is a resident of Marlfox Island who allies herself with Lantur and helps the vixen to terrorize Silth. She is known to be very cruel, once beating a woodlander slave when they simply look at her as well as purposely starving the prisoners when they cannot work one winter due to the weather. After the High Queen is killed she and Ullig are promoted to the highest rank within the water rat army, but very quickly demoted when Lantur is slain by a returning Mokkan and he becomes High King. The two rats tell the others this is a rumour and continue to command the soldiers behind Mokkan's back. She participates in the final battle and attempts to desert when she realizes they are losing, but is stopped and killed by several freed slaves. Her final screams are so loud that the fighting actually halts.
