Vugri is a soldier in the Doomwyte army who lives with them inside a large cavern within Mossflower. Along with some others he is sent out to search for Baliss, and upon finding the adder and thinking he is dead he and Frang fly closer to ensure this is true. Baliss suddenly springs up and captures an unlucky Vugri in his jaws, breaking one of his wings in the process. He then forces the raven to take him to the Doomwyte lair. While his death is not specifically mentioned he is presumably killed by Baliss.
