Vorto is a tall Captain in the Ratguard army who wields a spear, having received the promotion after Riftun's death. He joins Kurda on the pursuit of the three escaped Riftgard slaves and appears to have a slight rivalry with Riggan. Following the battle at Riftgard he and the aforementioned Slavecatcher are the last surviving rats to remain with Kurda, however not long after he is chopped in half by Sagax with Plugg's axe.
