Volcano Island Vermin

These vermin - whose species is unknown but they appear to resemble rats - reside on Volcano Island, are led by Marrahagga, and worship Slariss. They paint their fur with many different colours of dye, wear seashells on their bodies, and have a nasty habit of placing drugged fruit on the island to capture innocent travellers. This trick works when they kidnap some of Luke's tribe, but are defeated when the mouse Warrior slays Slariss and traps the vermin inside their cave by the volcano. Marrahagga is dragged outside by Luke, who forces her to tell him where Goreleech has sailed off to before feeding her the drugged fruit.
