Vendace is a Rapscour in the Rapscallions army who, along with Borumm, allies himself with Byral. Along with Lugworm they attempt to assassinate Damug but fail and are punished to live the remainder of their seasons in chains, but use a file to escape. Before fleeing with about thirty other soldiers his companion kills Lugworm with his chains for being a traitor. The group is swiftly recaptured by Skaup and Damug orders their execution by having stones tied around their necks before being thrown into a river.
