Urgan is a large resident of the Land of Ice and Snow who ends up freezing to death, and his body is discovered by Urgan Nagru half a season later. The fox skins him, wears the pelt over his own fur (he also puts iron hooks onto the claws and uses the skull as a helmet), steals his name, and calls himself the Foxwolf. Urgan is the only named member of his species to appear in the series.
