Ullig is the Slave Captain of Marlfox Island who cruelly beats the woodlander slaves with his whip, and due to his brutality the prisoners despise him. He becomes allies with Lantur and Wilce after the former kills Silth to become High Queen, but when Mokkan returns and secretly murders Lantur he is demoted. He and Wilce lead the soldiers in the final battle until he is slain by Nettlebud.
