Tubgutt - presumably named because of his large stomach - is a GUOSSSOM member who wields a shrew rapier. He is the brother-in-law of Forbun, uncle of twins, initially mean towards Mara and Pikkle, and attempts a rebellion against Log a Log while at the Great Inland Lake. He changes his attitude when Mara saves him from being eaten by the Deepcoiler and joins them to the island in the middle of the lake. Due to his personality he can be considered a "grey character".
