Truffen is the infant Prince of Southsward who lives with his family in Floret. He is the son of Gael and Serena, and adoptive brother of Benjy, Figgs, and Wincey. He is fiercely protected by Muta and, due to his age, does not recognize the danger they are all in when Nagru conquers the land. Along with his parents he escapes from the castle and, at one point, dreams of Mariel and the Joseph Bell but cannot tell anybeast as he is too young.
