Trimp the Rover
Gender: female
Species: hedgehog
Appears In: The Legend of Luke
Trimp is a young resident of the North Shores whose surname comes from the fact that she likes to travel, or rove, the land. She is the granddaughter of Welff, presumed daughter of Twindle, and arrives in Mossflower after leaving her home when Welff passes away. Here she meets Coggs and Ferdy, greeting them in the traditional hedgehog manner (bowing so their headspikes touch) before joining them on the way back to a partially-completed Redwall. While at the Abbey she sings a little ditty that she learned from her grandmother about Luke, resulting in Martin questioning her about his past. She accompanies him on the trip to the North Shores so he can learn more about his deceased father, and during the journey she befriends Chugger. After returning to Redwall she is adopted into Gonff's family.
