Trey is a young resident of Salamandastron and, along with her twin brother Trug, member of the Long Patrol. Along with three others (Dobbs, Dunwiddy, and Gilbee) she tricks Violet into allowing them to participate in outside patrol one night, an activity young hares are forbidden to do. While sitting around a campfire the four pals are cruelly run over by Greenshroud then shot with many arrows to ensure they are dead. Their bodies are found by the Long Patrol the following morning and buried. Her murder is eventually avenged by her brother when he kills Shekra during the Battle of Redwall.
