Treerose is a pretty red-furred resident of Redwall who, in her young seasons, can be extremely conceited. She enjoys flirting with males, particularly Rufe, and gets jealous when Mariel earns all the attention upon her arrival at the Abbey. She assists in the Kitchen as she is a skilled cook, and helps Oak Tom (whom she later marries) and Rufe in rescuing Greypatch's oarslaves when Clary's trio attacks the corsairs. During this she becomes close with Rosie and has a huge personality transformation after witnessing Clary and Thyme sacrifice their lives, changing into a much more caring creature. She grieves heavily over the deaths of the two hares and helps Flagg and Mellus in finding a severely wounded Rosie to bring back to the Abbey for recovery. After marrying Oak Tom she moves into Mossflower with him, though they often visit their friends at Redwall.
