Torilis - the Latin name for hedge parsleys, a type of herb - is the tall and gloomy-looking Infirmary Keeper who receives assistance from Ficaria. He is quite strict, does not hesitate to put youngsters on the Abbot's Report (as shown when he writes up Bisky and Dwink for starting a pillow fight), and possesses extensive knowledge in the healing arts. He is close friends with Glisam and later pushes him around in a wheelchair, promising to care for the old dormouse.
