Togey is the cheerful GUOSIM leader who wields a rapier and lives with his tribe in Mossflower. He is the father of Oneshrew, Twoshrew, Threeshrew, Fourshrew, Fiveshrew, Eightshrew, and twenty others, and grandfather of many (his children's odd names are derived from the fact that he has so many, so he names in numerical order in which they are born). He hates all vermin as they are responsible for murdering his father and two brothers in his youth. Along with his tribe he helps Tam and the Long Patrol in crossing over a waterfall in hopes of killing Gulo's horde, who are pursuing them. Just after the wolverine's death he arrives at Redwall prepared for battle and is disappointed upon learning that the army has been vanquished.
