This group of gigantic rock pillars, located in the far north of the Western Coast, are so treacherous that even Vilu Daskar is terrified the first time he sees them and avoids the rocks. Luke purposely crashes Goreleech here, and the huge red spike on her bow is driven deep into the pillars which results in it getting stuck between two rocks; the stern breaks off in the collision and sinks to the bottom of the sea with Luke, Daskar, and others still on board. The four lone survivors - Beau, Denno, Dulam, and Vurg - live on the ship's bow (dubbed Arfship) for many seasons until they are found by Martin's group, who bring them to Redwall.
