Swiffo is a young resident of the High North Coast who lives here with the Rogue Crew Sea Otters until he joins the Fortunate Freepaws as a scout. He is the son of Skor, younger brother of Ruggan, and a peaceful beast. He leads Posy, Uggo, and the Freepaws through a marsh while escaping from Razzid's crew, and successfully convinces a fearsome Sircolo to help them. He joins the two hedgehogs and GUOSIM on the trip to Redwall, often showing off his incredible climbing skills. While racing Dandy up a tree he is suddenly killed by a poison dart from Ketral, who has followed the group after previously being forced to flee. His murder is avenged by Ruggan who slays the fox, and he is later buried at Redwall.
