Stonehead is a large golden-eyed resident of northwest Mossflower who lives here with his family. He is the son of Heavywing, husband of Thunderbeak, father of two sons and two daughters, and possesses a fiery temper. He enjoys eating the Flitchaye as they often terrorize innocent travelers, and is summoned by one beating upon a hollow tree in the weasels' home. This technique is mentioned in Fieldroan's Riddle and it saves Mariel's group from certain death when they are captured by the vermin tribe. After he rescues the four friends he lets them stay in his nest for the night, then takes them to the marsh that borders Mossflower.
