Starwort - the common name for the callitriche stagnalis, a perennial aquatic plant species - is a resident of the Northlands and leader of the Broadstream Otters, as well as Captain of Waterlily. He is the husband of Marigold, has tattooed paws, wields a sling, friends with Gulba, and takes Martin's group part of the way to Noonvale after they are drugged by Aggril. He later participates in the Battle of Marshank.
