This large region, located to the south of Mossflower and south-southeast of Redwall, is surrounded by the Great South Cliffs and home to recurrent earthquakes. It features the Pine Forest, Wide River, a desert, the Abyss, a scrubland, the Bell and Badger rocks, the Lord of Mossflower, and Loamhedge's ancient ruins. Slagar travels across the plateau many times with captured woodlanders to be delivered to the Kingdom of Malkariss, and during the events of Loamhedge Bragoon and Saro's group arrives here in search of a supposed cure for Martha's paralysis.
