Sneezewort - the name for Achillea ptarmica flowers - is a lowly soldier in the Rapscallions army and friends with Lousewort. He is not intelligent and attempts to save a ship wheel but is insulted by his companion, however when it is thrown away it strikes Hogspit in the head and the large weasel immediately hates them both. After Louswort is promoted to Rapscour he does not speak to him even after he is demoted, however when his pal accidentally kills a fish and shares it with him they reconcile. Some time later he and Lousewort are ordered to guard a disguised Midge and Tammo, but while he is gathering some firewood his friend is knocked out by the two hares. Upon awakening he finds they have fled, and the rats desert after receiving some advice from Rinkul.
