Skrodd is a tall member of Burrad's band who wields a spear and originates from the Northlands. During a scuffle with Bragoon and Saro he accidentally kills Burrad and names himself the new Chieftain, claiming the dead weasel's cutlass as his own. Not long after he is challenged by a jealous Dargle, so he gets Badredd (the only other fox in the gang, with Skrodd giving him this name) to protect him as he claims that foxes need to stick together. While they are all sleeping one night Dargle sneaks up on him and fatally stabs him with a spear, but Skrodd uses his last breath to grab his cutlass and slash horizontally at Dargle's neck. The rat's head is almost completely severed and they both perish, with Badredd the first one to find them the following morning. He finishes the job by fully decapitating Dargle, then claims to the rest of the band that he slew them both before naming himself the new leader.
