Skittles is a very young member of the Rabblehogs tribe who calls himself "Skikkles" as he cannot yet pronounce his name properly. He is the rascally son of Drucco and Mirklewort, has a habit of running away, often refers to himself in the third person, and found by Grassum and Reedum who adopt him. After fleeing from them he is found by some GUOSIM shrews and is almost eaten by Riverwolf but rescued by Ruff. He joins him, Brocktree (whom he calls "B'ock"), and Dotti on the trip to Salamandastron and enjoys sitting on the badger's shoulders by his sword hilt. After Trunn's defeat he stays at the mountain with his family for a couple of seasons.
