Skipper is the leader of Mossflower otters who wields an axe and javelin. He is friends with Gurgan, Log a Log, and Shad, and borrows Tammo's dirk to bravely fight a yellow eel that is threatening Sloey. He later leads his crew of forty otters in the Battle of the Ridge of a Thousand.
