Skipper is the leader of Mossflower otters who wields a javelin and sling. He is the uncle of Brookflow, possesses extensive knowledge of the woodlands geographical layout, and acts as a scout for the Long Patrol while helping to track Gulo's horde. Like all otters he is a tough fighter and often sought out by Humble for military strategies. Along with five others he serves as a Marshall during the final duel between Gulo and Tam.
