Skel s a soldier in Trunn's horde who wields a shield and spear. While patrolling Salamandastron he encounters Brog's holt who are trying to free the trapped hares. He is knocked out by Stiffener, and when his partner Reggo comes to investigate he too is boxed by the old hare. They are tied up by Brog but later manage to escape, though when they return to the army they are deemed deserted and killed.
