Sircolo - presumably derived from circus, the scientific classification name for his species - is a fearsome resident of a marshland located just outside Mossflower who will eat anything that moves but spares those he considers to be his close friends. He first appears when the Fortunate Freepaws travel through his territory while fleeing from Razzid's crew, initially threatening them until he recognizes his pals Rekaby and Swiffo. He shows the group the way out before returning home. Some time later he attacks Ricker and Voogal who are moving through the marsh in pursuit of an escaped Posy and Uggo, ripping off Ricker's ear before turning around and killing him. He then grabs the rat in his wicked talons and flies off. Sircolo is the only member of his species to appear in the series.
