Shorebuck is a spear-wielding resident of Salamandastron and member of the Long Patrol who has sand-coloured fur. He joins Fleetleg and Longeyes on a scouting mission, and while returning back to the mountain they discover Waveblade's crew strewn all over the beach, killed by a Bloodwrath-afflicted Rawnblade.
