Shekra is a resident of Irgash Isle who acts as the Seer and healer in Razzid's crew. She wields a dagger and unknown blade, and often purposely exploits her omens to help her cause. While Razzid sometimes hints that he is aware of this tactic he still looks to her for advice, though he ignores her warning to not attack the Rogue Crew Sea Otters as she claims it will not be a good outcome. Her prediction is correct as most of the corsairs are slain and Razzid almost dies from severe burns, traveling with him back to the island where she heals his wounds as best she can. She is one of the few creatures to know that he is still alive (the other vermin, particularly Braggio, believe him to be dead), and when he reclaims Greenshroud she encourages him to sail to Mossflower and attack Redwall instead of exacting revenge on the sea otters. Despite his reluctance he agrees and she remains his ally, but after he has Dirgo killed by some pike in a stream she secretly sides with a trio (Jiboree, Mowlag, and Wigsul respectively) who are planning a mutiny. When Razzid starts to suspect her involvement she panics, switches alliances again, and tells him that the others had forced her into the entire thing while pointing out Wigsul as the main perpetrator. The unlucky weasels is brutally executed by an enraged Razzid, who then permanently damages the vixen's paw with his barbed trident as punishment but allows her to live. She participates in the Battle of Redwall and is killed by Trug as revenge for the murder of his sister Trey.
