Shang is the large leader of the Gorge Foxes who wields a four-pronged bolas, and her surname is derived from her purple tongue. After her crew defeats the Crow Brethren she agrees to join Swartt's horde if he gives her some metal and joint leadership, but since he doesn't trust her and wants the army all to himself he works with Nightshade to fatally poison her. Her band is then absorbed into the army.
