Scragg is a reliable soldier in Cluny's horde who originates from Mossflower and wields a sword. Due to being quite smart he is considered to be a strong candidate for Captaincy, a fact that makes Cheesethief extremely jealous. While the army is attempting to move a plank of wood to scale the Abbey walls, he is pushed out of the elm tree by Cheesethief. The fall severely injures but does not kill him, and the rat later returns to fatally strangle Scragg.
