Sage is a lance-wielding resident of Salamandastron and Lancejack in the Long Patrol. She joins Rake on the trip to strike an alliance with the Rogue Crew Sea Otters in hopes of defeating Razzid, and during the Battle of Redwall she is rescued by Buff and Drander after suffering a knife wound to her shoulder.
