Saffron - a type of spice - is a resident of Redwall who only appears in the television series and has several siblings. She helps Cornflower in taking the Kitchen inventory and, along with the other mousemaid, snatched up by Redtooth during an attack by Cluny's horde. They are thrown from the Abbey wall but rescued by Ivy's circus group and Matthias.
