Runka is a fully-grown resident of Green Isle and, along with his sister Banya, member of the Streamdog clan. He and Memsy voluntarily go to Felis's fortress so they can pose as slaves and spy on the cats, and they escape to alert their friends when Leatho is captured. They are both spotted and he is killed by Yund, leaving Memsy to return to Holt Summerdell where she relates the tragic news.
