Roopert is an infant resident of a grove found two leagues south of Salamandastron, and lives here with his parents Araltum and Idga (who bestow the title of Prince upon him as they are King and Queen). He has a lisp, is just as arrogant and lazy as his mother and father, and stripped of his crown by Tam when the squirrel returns with the recovered Royal Banner.
