Rogg is a skilled archer in Burrad's band who, like them, originates from the Northlands. Along with his brother Floggo (the two are identical in both looks and mannerisms) he is slightly loyal to Badredd, and helps to kill Junty during a scuffle at Redwall. He escapes south with the rest of the gang.
