Ripper is a member of Plugg's crew and originates from the Northlands. He has one eye, no tail, missing half an ear, wields a sickle, and joins Slitfang on the trip that later results in the capture of the three Salamandastron runaways. He participates in the failed attempt to burn down Redwall's main gates and shows an open dislike for Kurda.
