Redtooth is a tall Captain in Cluny's horde who acts as second-in-command. He is power-hungry, slightly conceited, extremely loyal to his leader, wields a cutlass and spear, and reads aloud Cluny's articles to reinforcements. He is present when the Scourge is allowed inside the Abbey, once again reciting the aforementioned articles but stopped short when Matthias rips them with his staff. He attempts to attack and is knocked out by Constance, resulting in the two hating each other. Some time later he joins Fangburn in taking Sela through Mossflower, however the rats get into a physical argument which allows the vixen to escape. While searching for her he runs into Constance and although he manages to wound her a little she grabs him by the tail and slams him into a nearby tree. The wicked impact kills him instantly, and his body is later eaten by Asmodeus.
