Rawback is a member of the Juskarath clan who lives with them in northwest Mossflower. He appears to be a skilled cook, left in charge when Sawney heads off to find the Taggerung, and joins Gruven on the pursuit of a deserted Deyna/Tagg. While fleeing from the latter he is tricked by the former into entering a swamp but manages to grab hold of a branch. He survives by eating various insects and frogs, and he eventually becomes mentally insane. The Juskabor find him, and he is brought to Gruven's interrogation where he speaks the truth to Bor. After telling the fox Chieftain all he knows, he is allowed to join the clan. Out of the nine Juskarath vermin to pursue Deyna/Tagg, he is the only survivor.
