Raventail's Band

This band of about twenty ferrets is led by Raventail and resides west of Redwall where they have a nasty habit of capturing innocent travelers, cruelly torturing them by forcefully dunking them into water. They cover themselves in tattoos and are extremely barbaric, though only Raventail is named. They are attacked by Dann and Song after kidnapping Burble and Dipple, and their numbers slightly dwindle. Raventail is later approached by three Marlfoxes who seek his help in their fight against Redwall, and after he is convinced they possess magical abilities (thanks to simple tricks) he gathers over one hundred extra fighters. After their leader is killed by Cregga during the final battle any survivors are forced to hand over their weapons and clean up the Abbey.
