This crew of about fifty sea rats is led by Raga Bol and arrive in Mossflower after their ship is wrecked on the northeast coast. They viciously ambush Grawn and Lonna, killing the former and severely wounding the latter. After this incident Bol leads them inland as he has learned that Lonna is alive and seeking vengeance. The crew captures Crinktail and Flinky, forcing them to reveal Badredd's position, and head to Redwall where they conquer the grounds as well as enslaving the smaller vermin band. Their attempt to take over the entire place fails, and any corsair foolish enough to poke their head above the walltop is instantly shot by Lonna who is now outside the Abbey. Bol is killed by him, and any surviving rats are found and slain by the badger.
