Purz is a soldier in the Doomwyte army who lives with them inside a huge cavern within Mossflower. He is the brother of Frang, Murig, and Tarul. While out one night he and some other birds are spotted by the Painted Ones tribe, with the rats immediately attacking them. He is struck and killed by their poison darts.
