Purlow is a resident of Salamandastron and member of Stonepaw's Stalwarts who escapes with the Lord to the mountain cellars. While hiding he hears some vermin talking and leaves their spot to check it out, with the enemy soldiers spotting and injuring him. He later joins the Bark Crew and survives the final battle.
