Porty is a fat resident of Salamandastron and friends with Bradberry. He acts as temporary Officer during battle against Swartt's horde and commands that boulders be dropped on Aggal's group who are scaling the mountainside. He unknowingly saves Sunflash's life when he throws two otter rockcreams at Folrig and Ruddle but they strike the weasel instead (who has been hiding underneath a window ledge in preparation of assassinating the Badger Lord), and the impact sends the Wraith falling down Salamandastron's side.
