Polleekin is an ancient resident of a dead oak tree in the Scrubby Woodland, originally living in a mole tribe until they pass away like her family. She possesses the powers of a Seer, though she mostly keeps this to herself as she does not want to give others a sense of false security or make them worried. While giving Marin's group some shelter and food she advices them to not return to Marshank, warning that "bad fortune" awaits them (she correctly predicts Rose's death), but does help them with their trip to Noonvale by reciting a mysterious poem that Rose writes down as it will help them find the place. After tending to a wounded Martin following the final battle, she once again correctly says that the young mouse will not only eventually find happiness but become a legend that will forever be remembered.
