This spot is home to many hornets and wasps who swarm here thanks to the rotting fruit and plants Rangval places on the ground. The wasps built four large nests between two weeping willows, and the hornets live in the trunk of a dead wych elm tree which has been moved to the riverbank by Rangval. The resourceful squirrel - who also ties ropes to branches so he can disturb the nests when necessary from a safe distance - is able to walk through the area without getting stung. The insects angrily attack the Brownrats tribe when they suddenly storm through, and many rats are slain as a result.
