The Old Rabbit - true name unknown - is an ancient resident of an unknown place and presumably a slave in the Kingdom of Malkariss until his escape. He has a white beard, is mentally insane due to his cruel captivity, and initially only speaks about death and destruction. A grateful Matthias gives him a cloak, and in exchange the old one hands him a small stone carving of a mouse; this talisman is used by the group to access the underground kingdom. He appears some time later after the surviving members of Slagar's gang are captured by the pursuers, mentioning something regarding Slagar's nasty habit of abandoning or murdering his slavers so he can take the credit of delivering slaves for himself. He then wanders off.
